No Corruption Graphics

Tired of blood-red wastelands and weird chaos slime all over your campaign map?

This mod only removes the visual textures for Chaos and Vampiric corruption on the campaign map. The gameplay effects are untouched—your provinces can still be full of corruption, it just won’t look like it.



What's in it?

  • Removes the corruption ground textures—no more blood or purple goo
  • Works for Immortal Empires
  • Supports The Old World Campaign mod
  • 100% visual only—doesn’t mess with any mechanics

It’s safe to add mid-campaign, and should play nicely with other mods too.



Why?

Sometimes I just want to enjoy the map without it looking like a Chaos rave. This mod is for people who like things a bit cleaner but don’t want to disable corruption entirely.

I’m not sure what green crap you refer to, but if it’s like warp-stones and such, they are campaign map props and not something I can maintain the removal of in this mod.

Please post a screenshot if you can.

Okay, can you please share that? This mod should not even be able to cause that.

I haven’t played since 6.1 so I’ll check tomorrow with 6.3.

Yes it is. I have side by side pictures of regions in the game with this mod enabled and disabled showcasing the grey hue it leaves on uncorrupted regions.

why does this mod make the map seem so damn grey? as if it has a thin film of grey layered on top of the whole map.
