Maggots!

Soldier is one of the 9 classes from the team shooter Team Fortress 2.
He is a jack of all trades character and has amazing options for both movement and taking stocks through his rocket launcher.

Gimmick:
Soldier can rocket jump with the rocket launcher, which puts him in a unique state.
Upon rocket jumping: air speed and acceleration increase, air jump and walljump restored, can use strongs in the air.
Soldier can bunnyhop (jump after landing) to maintain the blast jump state while on the ground.

Specials:
Up Special uses the BASE Jumper to propel Soldier upwards.
Its float state remains after the move is deployed.
This state goes away upon jumping, fastfalling, and other obvious methods.

Side Special and Down Strong both use the Rocket Launcher.
These moves can be aimed one of 3 directions.
Upon use, fires a rocket that explodes when it hits a surface or an enemy.
If Soldier is in the explosion, the rocket jump state activates.
Down strong can be used in the air without having to rocket jump first.

Neutral Special reloads the Rocket Launcher.
It must be done manually, and can't be used in the air.
Reloading several rockets at once is faster than reloading one at a time.

Down Special is used for the Buff Banner.
The meter fills by dealing 150% damage.
Once activated, all your attacks deal +3% damage for 15 seconds.

Characteristics:
Disjointed moves with good frame data
Slow land speed, average air speed (excluding blast jumping)
Middle-heavyweight (Shovel knight weight)

Misc tips:
If you cancel jab into tilts fast enough, you slide a bit
Dash attack goes further the more % he has (every 40% until 200%)
Fstrong does more damage while rocket jumping
Dtilt cancels into strongs on hit
Grenade attacks (back air and up strong) explode while rocket jumping
Fstrong and Dtilt go off ledge
If you use uspecial again after deploying it, you'll get a little upwards boost

As of v2.2, air strongs can't be charged
Press down taunt before the match begins to swap down special and down strong
