Mashin Kai makes his way into Rivals! His attacks don't share an overall theme or gimmick, but they all string together very well.


Mashin summons a computer, and breaks it in half with his trusty Keyblade. This attack is high risk, high reward: large damage and knockback, but very slow.

Mashin brings out his phone, and calls forth a police car. The car can be used as a moving platform, and deals some good damage. When this move is used in midair, however, it calls the most recent car to Mashin's X position, and fails if no cars are currently out.

Mashin pours a can of soda on himself, and flies upward. Not only does this move not put you in pratfall after using it, but you're invincible for most of the move!

Mashin sends down one of five states: Oregon, Hawaii, Montana, Idaho, and Nebraska. The selection is random, but every state (except Oregon) has a special effect when sent out.


If you're running a tournament and Casual Mashin is too strong but you still want him in, you can switch over to Competitive Mode. Press A under the start match bar or press A on a CPU portrait to switch it to the next setting, out of four.
