It's my Alpha version of the mod. I wish to make this a collaborative work so we can add news until the mid 32nd century.

I like reading the Newsreel. Brings me back memories of the history I once knew. But I feel "naked" after December 3049 in the game.

So many new technologies are added, new changes to the Inner Sphere map. And politics. Murders. Oh, and Mechs too.

I hope to make this a collaborative effort, cuz it takes a lot, and I mean, a LOT of research to make sure the information is "accurate" and lore-friendly.

I get hints of news to write from Sarna.net, from the Battletech Extended mod and most importantly, from Battletech books on Scribd.

So far the mod is working. However, it ignores the localization active in the settings and replaces all texts in the news with English. I think this needs to be corrected.

Clan Invasion will pretty much be MW6 and they're supposed to announce it this year too.

I would wager that they originally WANTED to do the clan invasion as part of DLC that expanded onto the campaign, I mean it literally ends PERFECTLY where you would be right in the thick of the action of the clan invasion being near House Kurita space just around the time frame of the invasion.

Honestly kind of sad that they'd leave out the clan invasions as... well, it was a pretty significant part of Battletech lore.

Hey everyone. Last night I raged quit the game cuz I was 100% sure that I lost my 3 mods. But this morning, I saw I could recover them and did. Cuz they go hand in hand with my fun to play this game. I was so upset to lose hundreds of hours of work on this mod. But, now, I will be more careful with my files. I'm still heavily learning the MW5 Editor.
