Downloaded through SteamCMD, there seems to be a file sound/sound.cache that could be the issue

This doesn't contain anything that would affect subtitles or UI. It's just a texture replacement

For some reason this addon makes subtitles not work now, I went through every addon I had and it was this one specifically causing it, anyone else experiencing this? It didn't happen before, so a game update must've broken something
