Langrenus Base

Hi,

A lunar base, very simple, very small. I don’t know what to say about this. It looks nice and that’s all there is to it.

I kept the R.S.F theme of semi-realistic space travel. The main building structure should be modules that are mostly manufactured on earth and assembled here. Hence the barebone design and thin walls. The foundation on the other hand is made out of regolith, sourced on-site, and half-buries the base.

If I have time, I will do a series of lunar bases for different functions. This one is the inhabitation hub and there will be others like manufacturing hub, landing pads, storage, etc. I reckoned that if IRL, these would not be kept at a close distance with the building density like this base, both because of the terrain and the safety hazards. As a result, I will post separate blueprints. But in case I don’t have the time to do so, for the moment, this kind of has everything you need.

Basically, when the seal of the base is breached or an airlock opened through, it will do a lockdown. It resets when the problem is solved.
