Iron Peak Industrial SD35s

The SD35s owned and operated by the Iron Peak Industrial railroad

Acquired 3rd hand from EMD leasing and MRL, they are currently used as surge power, stored until they are needed. They were early pickings for the railroad in 2001 when it was starting to get more mixed traffic rather than just coal, and have served 20 long years. In the early days they were used regularly, but as the mechanical problems kept coming and as the railroad got more reliable locomotives they were pushed to be stored and only used as necessary, being replaced with the SD38HT-2.

This pack includes 3500, 3501, 3502, and 3503.
