Leviathan Coast - Mecha Invasion

Feel like Leviathan Coast needs more relevance? well here you go.

- This mod only enhances the Levi coast and nothing else.
- This mod does not cause unnaturally excessive spawn rates.
- I test every little tweak I make to make sure any addition is completely balanced and doesn't effect any vanilla gameplay elements.

Parts of the Coast are littered with dead robots and old legion buildings by default - so it is Lore friendly to assume some could still be Operational.

This Mod makes Leviathan coast a proper end game location.
I always felt like each corner of the map should be special and with this, LC is.

What the Mod does -

Adds radiant spawns to the LC for :

- Cleanser Units
- (Weaker type) Rusty Crimpers (1 to 2 can spawn together)

and

- Rarely , an appearance from 'special' blood spider swarms , made up of a Queen mini-boss with 2-4 Royal guards as well as a varied amount of little minions.
The animation timings , weapon reaches, and turning rates of the larger spiders have been tweaked to make them look correct while moving and to have distinctly different characteristics compared to the smaller spiders.

The queen has eaten some nearby mechanical stuiff which gives her improved loot over her smaller family members.
I added the spiders for a balanced Organic predator - they get munched by Leviathans regardless of how many there are.

The Rusty Crimpers are difficult , you'll need about 5 badasses to kill 1 in a head on fight - so if you see a couple , use your massive brains - kite with crossbows, lead them to harpoons , whatever floats your boat.

Recently buffed loot - to make them more comparable to Cleansers - I didn't like how they were 30x harder and gave less loot.

Each Rusty Crimper will drop
- 5x CPU Units
- 2x Robotic Component
- 3x Armour plating
- 1x Capacitor
- 3x Copper Alloy Plate
- 1x Motor

Which makes Hunting them feel worth the effort.
Their combat effectivness has been re-balanced (25/08/2022), they are slightly easier now.

This mod also tweaks the Tech Hunters which naturally spawn in Levi Coast - giving them a moderate boost in gear quality and greater variation on combat stats.

This tweak makes the Tech Hunters put up some fight (but not enough) , the Hunters still don't stand a chance.
Rusty Crimpers have 300-400 strength and attack quite fast.

Leviathan Coast becomes a diverse warzone with very good high end loot.

So people can see - If you encounter weird spawns - it's not because of this Mod - it's because something like Genesis or UWE is using this mod data in a weird way. Below is a link to show Only Leviathan Coast is effected.
