Light Strike Vehicle (LSV)

Light land vehicle optimized for fast personnel transport and recon across mostly flat/level terrain.

Inspired heavily by the various buggies manufactured by Chenowth Racing Products, Inc used by the US Army. Began as the Fast Attack Vehicle (FAV) in the 1980s, then Desert Patrol Vehicle (DPV) in the 1990s, then LSV when updated and adopted by Special Operations Command.

The frame pieces are somewhat awkward but provide some roll-over protection for the gunner and systems.

CHARACTERISTICS

Role: Fast, light transport/recon
Occupancy: 3 (driver, TC/passenger, gunner/passenger)
Weapons: 1x forward facing Minigun/chaingun controllable by AI or the gunner seat. No camera -- manual aiming from gunner's view.
Power: 6x Small Batteries
Handling/Gyros: 1x Gyro for increased handling, 1x toggle on/off gyro for roll-over recovery.
Handling/Wheels: 4x 3x3 wheels optimized for flat terrain and handling at fast speeds with minimal roll-over risk on flat terrain.
Systems: Antenna, Ore Detector, Turret Controller
Storage: No dedicated storage (only storage is in buggy cockpits).
Connection: Merge blocks on rear for usage to hook up to a power charging station.
