Exodus Veterans V3.63

描述
Exodus was originally made by Dullahan. Now that he has left DoW 3 he has given me access to maintain the mod for him in his absence.

Exodus is a minor change balance mod which has the aim of making the game generally more balanced without changing anything in an extreme manner.

Exodus Veterans is a new optional mode developed by me that allows elites to gain EXP and obtain level up bonuses. More information in the changelog link below. This mode can be activated by voting using the newly added ability on the HQ. Bots will automatically use this ability so activating this mode is completely at your choice.

The biggest changes in Exodus are that units have more health through upgrades and objectives don't die to a breeze. Making resource nodes and upgrading them is key to getting a fast economy (massive buffs). Elites will have more HP based on how many players there are in the match (this also stacks with Exodus Veterans buffs). These are by far not the only changes though.

@weiss Let's be honest the normal difficulty is to easy and the hard difficulty is to hard. I don't want to change the IA. I only want to change the resources gain. But maybe instead of changing the hard difficulty you can add some additional resources to the normal difficulty, instead of gaining 400 they can gain 600, and the hard difficulty 800 as all ready is. Is just the step I need to get better and play against the hard IA in the future.

Hard AI has been upgraded in Exodus for experienced players. If you want to play against a bot that plays like vanilla difficulty, play against Normal AI. Basically the old Easy AI doesn't exist anymore, it is basically now Normal -> Hard -> Exodus Hard.

@weiss I just can’t win on hard difficulty. The AI is gaining 3600 Requisition while I’m only gaining 1000 not to mention the Power. It’s just impossible. But if you’re willing to make a copy of this mod but LIT, where the hard difficulty gains a little bit fewer resources, that would be very appreciated.

Sure Metal, I play every Sunday at 5PM UTC with friends from the unofficial DoW3 Discord. We welcome players of any skill. Come join us on Discord if you want, we often get new players joining and we try to balance the lobbies as much as possible. We also play Playgu's new game mode "Direct Strike" where skill matters a lot less. No mic required.

Nice mod. This is a very nice game, I really like it, is a shame no one do. But you did a very good job with the valance of the game, which in my opinion, is wen the game show his flaws. If the community play it more i'm sure the devs will get some patch for that. But since is a dead game I really want to thank you for this mod. I'm very bad at rts but if you guys are still playing this game, I want to join, just a casual (The hard difficulty is to much for me)

If anyone is looking at the comments at this time, today's Exodus Veterans mode is still in development and the changelog is also incomplete (no pictures). I will also be updating this page later to have more pictures and videos to properly show the new changes.
