After Poland regained independence,the only machine guns in the country were the ones from the previous overlords.This created a huge logistical issue,worsened by the imported guns from Britain and France.
Thus,the Polish army started trials for a new standardised LMG for the army.In 1925,the Belgian made BAR won,and the Polish army ordered some with a series of modifications,which began production in Poland in 1930.
It was used by a number of countries,including Germany and the USSR (captured during the invasioin),Spain (sold to the Republicans during the war),and China (exported for military use).
Like other Polish WW2 guns,most were lost during or immediately after the war

no i was talking about the 1887 and the 1901 winchester [again same thing but longer barrel] but the 1895 winchester would also make a good weapon too also nice facts:steamthumbsup:

I think he is talking about the Winchester 1895 by the Soviets? That was in 7.62x54mmR and was used during WW1 and in some forms during WW2. It would be cool though as it is such a weird weapon to be used in a major conflict

sure it did not get adopted in to the army then but the winchester 1901 [which is the same thing but longer barrel] was used though out 1901 to 1920 and the wild west era ended in 1890 and ww1 happened in 1914 [maybe] so it could make a ww1 weapon. Amcar i,m a person who thinks it should be on time NOT military service.

this is the ww2 collection, not the cowboy collection

i don,t know if thats a yes or a no but ok also i know how much effort you in to all these mods and i know i might be telling you to make another one even though last ones were just posted 5 days ago im not saying make it now just take your time :steamthumbsup:
