Designed for ferrying dignitaries and families from liveship to liveship, Planet to planet, etc... the ISC: Anura Shuttle is extremely lightly armored and modestly armed. It is not designed to venture far from the protective gaze of the Liveship and Cruiser weapons.

In exchange, it has an exceedingly "sexy" form factor, high visibility of galactic formations for both passengers and crew, and is highly manuverable for transit within many battlecruisers

For power, it has a system of Light PEGASUS reactors, accessible from the passenger bay.

It IS an armed shuttle, as ISC industries didn't want a stranded shuttle to be defenseless. It also includes a light-warning system reminicent of old terran police vehicles, to deter would-be pirates

Pilots grumble about its Scalar-9 dampaning system, nicknaming it "The Slippery Star".
