JIG ANGLED EDGE

JIG FOR MAKING ANGLED EDGES FOR A NICE STYLED LOOK.

To use follow these instructions and use the pictures to help guide you.
Part 1: put jig with orange lip facing you, and put the desired piece of wood on the right side if it is less than 12 inches.

Part 2: put a piece of wood the same thickness on the left (only if wood on right is less than 12 inches wide). Then nail (Both) piece of wood in place after lining it up with the right side and front lip. (left side does not have to be perfectly lined up).

Part 3: take the cutting jig that comes with each room (the short one is the only one that will work with this jig) and line it up so that it is vertical with the slot side face down. (look at picture above to get the idea of position). the jig should be on top of the piece of wood you want to cut.

Part 4: Line the far right slot angle with the right edge of the wood and take the saw and bring it to the slot until it clicks into place, then get the blade close to the wood and attach the blade to the wood and start sawing. (you may have to take it slow so you dont knock the cutting jig out of place), (you may have to practice lining up the cutting jig in the right place until you get the right amount of ratio of angle to vertical edge).

Part 5: as you start cutting you will realize that the length of the board will be long and the saw may slip out if you dont move forward, so use the walking action, not the teleport, to finish cutting to the end.
