You need to subscribe to the required item or you won't hear a bunch of sounds!

If it doesn't automatically work after subscribing, move the addon VPK from its Workshop folder to your Custom folder. It can be found in:

Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\362890\2845709165

The Glock, 357 Magnum, MP5, and Shotgun animations originally ported from KF2 by Johnny Brown, now with quicker draw/reload animations that more closely match the vanilla weapon animation timings. Additionally, the Glock's reload sound volume has been boosted, the MP5 now uses the EOD model by Thanez, and the shotgun has a stock and jiggleboned rings like in Black Mesa Blue Shift.

if it's still relevant to anyone, you just make a folder with name "custom"

i dont remember exactly where but there are a ton of tutorials out there on how to do this exact thing

I've updated this addon slightly for anyone who wants to mix and match it with my other weapon stuff, be sure to sub to the required item if you still want to use it.
