What's this mod about?
You know, I'm the kind of person who clings to all those old mods they discovered back in the day, so despite lots of alternatives out there, I still like aRandomKiwi's Mercenaries For Me. Alas, it's not actively updated anymore, so I decided to write a couple of patches so the mod feels a bit better with the Ideology DLC.

Mainly, this mod integrates the ideology system into the USFM and Iron Alliance. Now these factions will have their own generated ideologies.

Please, do let me know if there still are some things to be fixed, tweaked or polished.

There's alternatives? I thought Mercenaries For Me was still the go to mod for that kinda thing.

is this compatible with 1.4? i'm updating my mod list and saw this was one of the few mods in my list still on 1.3.

@Gotcha! Truth be told, I was going to take such an approach in the first place but couldn't find a way to implement it. Thank you for your feedback, though!

Would it be possible to make the USFM and Iron Alliance not have faction-wide ideologies, but have the individual mercs pick a random pre-existing ideology when they spawn? I think it would make more sense that way because really, since the USFM and Iron Alliance are basically mercenary guilds, it would make the most sense for the factions themselves to be only after money, but allow the individual mercs themselves to believe whatever they want to believe.

This is really cool by the way! I'm really glad someone stepped up and fixed this problem! Good job!
