Bunker: Concrete Mazes

One of many bunkers constructed during World War 2. The nickname "Concrete Mazes" was given by it's soldiers and inhabitants during the war for it's unorthodox approach to layout and scale. Unless you have a really good memory or you work in the bunker, it is a maze and it's unusually spacious nature can get you lost. No one knows why but it is speculated that the bunker was constructed that way to disorientate and confuse whoever that dared to infiltrate the bunker.

This map was born after several tests of making underground maps. I was especially interested in war bunkers as I just simply love the concrete, dirty and boxy look of it. Especially Cold War ones those were great. The development of this map was a complete hellhole from beginning to end. This map has spent 2 months in constant on and off development due to IRL issues and issues with the map itself from the layout to lighting. This map was not fun to make at all.
