SSL Copen

Copen from the Gunvolt series. Moveset was mostly inspired from Luminous Avenger iX2, but with mechanics from the previous entry.

He doesnt have a double jump, instead he can hover in the air.

He can air dash on 3 different directions and bounce on the ground, walls and ceiling if you hold attack (only applies to up and down air dash).

From Luminous Avenger iX2, Copen wields the Razor Wheel as his main weapon, hold the attack button to keep dealing constant damage.

You only have 3 Bullit dashes available, you recover 1 each time you bounce on ground, by wall jumping or reloading.

To reload your Bullits use Down Tilt or fast fall while hovering in the air (ALWAYS reload).

After hitting an oponent with the Bullit dash, they will be tagged, while they have the tag applied, Copen's air dashes become Anchor Nexus and it will deal a stronger hit with your air dash (it will consume the tag if the hit lands).

Copen's grounded dash can be jump cancelled and it will keep his horizontal momentum.

By dealing damage you get kudos, get 1000 and Copen will enter in Overdrive, his damage will increase and some of his attacks gain an extra property.

By pressing Taunt, Copen's partner Lola will access to Idol Trigger, while active, the music will change, she has 6 options in total: (keep in mind that you'll have to hold walk if you have autodash on)

Known Bugs:
-Lola's song will overlap itself if both players play as Copen and taunt
-The tag doesnt work on non-player enemies
-Tagging a clone might result on getting stuck with Anchor Nexus for the rest of the fight



Gamefeel Feedback its greatly apreciated since I dont use to get it often and I also want to improve the character.


(The Original Sprite was taken from Blaster Master Zero 2, I only put everything together and sprited some new attacks)
