Ever wondered what happens to those maps that get abandoned half way through development and get lost to the mists of time never to be seen or worked on again?

They age. Like everything in life ages.

This is a map that was started years ago, but unfortunately it never made it out of prototyping, so has fallen into disrepair having been found again nearly a decade later.

this map looks like what you would make a custom map for a game not knowing how to publish it and you come back after so many years just to find this old custom map all in ruins

I love these types of maps. The maps that have been left behind and are starting to reveal the editor. The maps that are left in disarray and disrepair. The maps that become sort of corrupted because the creator has left it behind. @Yeehaw Kirby I would love for that to be a thing.
