Lore:
A species of small, carnivorous, semi-aquatic, salt water amphibians from the sub terrain oceans of the Tr'allanga home world.

This species in particular prefers to live in shallow waters, rock pools and near cavern beaches.

Gul will eat anything they can fit in their mouths; mainly Mi'ri fish, insects, worms and small crabs.

These creatures are also prey to larger animals; so have an exoskeleton on their bodies to defend themselves; large eyes to spot predators and spikes along their tail.

Said tail is also capable of being used as a deadly bladed whip to scare off predators.

Gul have a lifespan of 10-12 years and become sexually mature adults at 3 years old.

Regarding reproduction; during the early summer males will search for females by scent; upon finding one they will do a unique dance to try and win her interest.

If shes not interested the male will leave and try his luck somewhere else.

But if she like his moves; she will mate with him and a few days later dig a nest in a shallow area or rock pool and lay her eggs.

She will then bury said eggs in the sand and guard them for about a week; at which point they hatch into babies; said babies being already able to hunt and survive on their own.

After that; the female simply swims off and lets the babies do their own thing.
