This vessel is the oldest working model of my fleet, first seeing usage in 2017. It has seen many minor reworks as the game released new blocks, like dampeners, flight recorders, turret blocks and many more. Despite this, it has held true as a cheap but reliable early game all purpose frigate. It's currently loaded with mining laser, laser and point defense laser turrets.

It was this model that allowed me to understand AI captain behavior and as such is the first to field a balanced coverage of turrets. It can work for a player but there's better more recent models to choose from. Still use this one, sometimes up to three at a time, for my early game mining needs.
