Nilenguma, once a heavenly noble Ent, drove himself to ruin in attempt to reunite himself with his lost kin. Nilenguma underestimated the sheer weight the souls of his people carried before they were pacified and sent Faanhia for eternal rest. The collective resentment of his people coupled with the deafening force of their souls erupted from Nilenguma's body who was used as a gateway for them. The souls who managed to free themselves through his body was corrupted further into what are now Abicchinna. In efforts to raise the curse forced upon his kin, Nilenguma allowed himself to be turned into another of Penjara's Gentries in order seek out the roaming Abicchinna whose numbers remain in the thousands. Though is Nilenguma would allow himself to actually hear their pleads past his own guilt, he would've known that this mission of his wasn't at all necessary. The Abicchinna are not vengeful corrupted spirits, he has just lead himself to believe that. The Abicchinna are his kin who survived the collapse of the Second Iteration due to having their consciousnesses sealed away by Father Krein. He mistakes them for the actual vengeful spirits that were pacified by Ussem twenty plus years ago. His kin, on the other hand, were freed by Ussem and given new form.
