This liminal and ambiguous entity is the direct result of the forceful union between Ussem the Chthonian half of the original Keystone Tree and the unofficial third Crown Princess of the Onshivel Kingdom, Giselle Gionne. The incorruptible carcass used as a corporeal anchor for Islisuna was originally lost to them moments after being born since the symbiotic host that was Giselle's first body ceased to function after she died due to the complications of Islisuna's birth. Though now that Cayenne successfully restored and resuscitated Giselle's first body, the symbiotic connection was able to be reestablished. Thus, Islisuna has returned to their body that is now in the truest sense of the word, immortal. Free from the rope that tethers every living and deceased being of the universe to Sæsn and Ussem. As an entity who could bring ruin to the order Ayann and her family has diligently set in motion by either bringing an end to the universe's third iteration or giving rise to a new universe parallel to the primary one, Islisuna is constantly under close supervision wherever they may go.
