Japan Government Railway 4-6-2 Class C53 Steam Locomotive

-----Breif history of Steam Locomotives class C53-----

The evolutionary locomotive; class C51, but could not satisfy the increasing demands.
Satisfing those demands, class C53 was developed based on class C51 and imported 3-cylinder- locomotive; class C52.
Class C52, for studying the technology, was useful locomotive, but some points were difficult to use for Japanese.
For improving those points, class C53 was redesigned.
But these redesigning made more difficult to maintenance from origin, and forced to overwork.
Therefore, class C53 is divided two.

Class C53 was only one car preserved in Kyoto.
