Thanks for the insight. Very useful.
For nightmare difficulty, there are superior builds that work exceptionally well, such as the Nightmare Artificer Archer build and the Nightmare Archer Build. These builds offer strategic advantages and synergies that can be more effective than a poison-focused approach, particularly in challenging situations. Additionally, while this build Tempest Archer build can be used as a poison build, it still lacks compared to others which may offer more versatility and potency in combat.
PART 1
Early on (levels 1-11) and before DLC, many core enemies lack immunity to poison, allowing you to effectively utilise it. You can employ poison through skills like Poisoned Weapons, Infected Wounds, or Leeching Poison from the Sabotage tree. However, the rationale behind avoiding poison is straightforward: other skills offer superior benefits and contribute more effectively to endgame builds. Nevertheless, you can still opt for a poison-based build, weighing the cost of abilities against their value. It's worth noting that investing heavily in the poison tree can prove costly, especially when facing enemies immune to poison, such as most bosses, resulting in a purely ineffective debuffed approach.
