Background History:
-Fictional-
After the Allied defeat in WWII, a cold war between the two dominant victors, Japan and the German Reich emerged. In an effort to secure the place as global superpower, massive modernizations and investments were made to both nations´ navies, building larger ships with even larger cannons and aircraft compliments.

The Hishikaze was the lead ship of a new generation of destroyers. These ships were built to operate remotely or in small flotillas on open sea for long periods of time.
They ships stand out through their somewhat untypical main tower as well as their weapons layout.
The Hishikaze was armed with eight 100mm auto-cannons in four dual turrets. These cannons have good firing angles and can engage sea and air targets efficiently.
This is complimented by the three quadruple long-lance torpedo launchers, for which the ship could carry up to two reloads each, with some of them stored on deck and the rest in the hull.
Her Anti-Air armament however is mediocre at best, with ships of this class relying on evasion and the DP-Cannons to prevent being struck by aircraft.
To counter the german submarines, these ships were equipped with new, versatile launching system, that could launch depth-charges and in theory ,also short range naval rockets, although the later option was never realised.
Her armor was formidable at up to 76mm while having a max speed of 36.5 knots.

As the lead ship, the Hishikaze was marked with the word "Honor" on her sides.
