Minor mod I made for myself to add a few endgame items that seem missing for paladin gameplay (swordsman way, rather than melee caster).

Everything is sold by a vendor close to player house.

Ring: +melee AND +holy, but a bit less than dedicated accessories from faction epic quests.

Amulet: artifact version of harmony talisman, slightly higher stats, but no proc.

Shield: Hope of the Stars with a different model (less fridge door style) and slightly higher knock resistance.

2h sword: basically a 2-handed King's sword, without the proc, but with some magic resistance to compensate (enough to be able to reach cap with an offensive trinket).

You should be able to delete items and uninstall the mod safely, but there's no guarantee, especially with the game still being developed.


Q&A:

Why are items green? So far quality gets assigned automatically based on budget *shrug*.

Too much knock resistance! Well, if anything should be unstoppable, that's a paladin with a shield. That said, even with defence tree passive on top of these I get knocked around all the time if not paying attention.

Why the stamina on amulet and shield? Quality of life improvement, not using whirlwind strike, so never ran out of stam in combat; allows for more sprinting and jumping with all the speed that paladin seal gives us.


Changes:
- reduced values on the shield in line with the Hope of the Stars nerf.

I just loaded up the game and the shield was fine, I think it's when you have a different weapon set on that doesn't have the shield on that it turns into a worn sword, so for anyone else that's having this issue when you save and quit just make sure the shield is equipped when you do.

I just want to let you know that whenever there is an update the shield turns into a worn sword and I need to buy another one and there not exactly cheap to replace. I know there's nothing you can do about it but just wanted to put this here.

I've sent my suggestions to the developer, for now modding interface is too limited to do smth decent in that regard. Would love to see a deathknight as well)

it would be really cool to see what you could do! i dont have mobility on my deathknight, but i have 2 companions that help! i wish i could summon the wraiths in the poision dungon, they gave me a fight :D

I'm not sure a deathknight is viable, minions just get destroyed too quickly by aoes unless you go all-in into offensive stats (which buffs their hp to okayish values). That means 4 INT, and with 3 STR required to wear heavy armor that leaves you with a choice between helpless minions or pitiful mobility.

Another problem is the inability (for now) to create set bonuses or unique modifiers. Skull mask and necromancer set reduce mana requirements for skeletons from 19% with mastery to 12% (max skeletons 5->8). I could make 5 separate heavy armor pieces with some melee and 200% dark magic each, but not sure that'd help.
