描述
This is a pair of storage facilities for storing nuclear materials. Comes in two sizes.

Caution! Only Soviet Cask Type B containers should be stored in this facility. Attempting to store any other kind of container will look very strange. The storage buildings must be built on very flat ground.

Using the building mirroring functionality with this mod breaks its storage layout! Do not mirror this building!

@ Kham That's so weird! Having looked at the mod definition, I can find nothing in there that should cause these problems...

So I unsubbed from that mod again, restarted steam, then resubbed and now the storage is working. I get the weirdest bugs. Anyway, back to building my nuclear facility now XD

Hey @Zyx, me again, back after a couple of years. So I ran into the same issue I had last time and thankfully because of game changes letting us disable mods without having to unsub it was a bit easier to track down the conflict this time.

It appears that this mod, also by robs074, is now causing my issue with nuclear storage overfilling. Sadly, unlike the other mod that caused it, unsubbing and resubbing doesn't appear to have fixed it on my end. Though looking at the files I have no idea why it would cause any issue.

I ran some tests in a new save with just this mod and the mechanical factory mod from robs074 active and every time the storage should be full and stop allowing them to load, it just keeps going.

Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic is the second game I know where I can put a childrens daycare next to Nuclear Waste Storage.

@ Kham That really is bizarre. That particular mod did come out after this one, but I've been subscribed to it more or less since it was published... and I've never encountered this behavior myself.

I guess this proves the validity of the turn-it-off-and-on-again problem-solving approach! I'm glad it worked out for you.

So for now I'm happy, I've been able to build the Nuclear Storage in my main save and it functions correctly. I don't know if I'll ever track down whatever other mod in my list is causing problems because frankly my brain is mush after all of this.

For reference, the mod I isolated which was causing me the problem was an Electronics Component Factory mod

Though as I said, since un-subbing and re-subbing to that mod it is no longer causing any problems for me so I don't know how much it helps having isolated it.

@Zyx So... I've spent the last couple of days doing extensive testing and tracking down mods by comparing active mods in my save vs my brother's save and managed to isolate 1 mod which I had built from in my save which seemed to be causing it.

After deleting the building from that mod in my main save and un-subbing from it and then running with 'enable only used items' I was able to build a functional Nuclear Storage.
However, when I re enabled all mods in that save it appears there may be at least one other mod in my list which I haven't used thus far in the save which also causes it.

Interestingly, re-subbing to the mod I tracked down no longer causes the issue with newly built Nuclear Storage in either my main save or my testing save so I've no idea why it caused the issue to begin with.

@ Kham This situation does seem very strange indeed. A mod conflict seems pretty unlikely to be the cause, given how isolated and functionally limited WR:SR mods are... but I'm certainly strapped for explanations.

For future reference: since version 0.8.8.15, it is possible to buy nuclear fuel or Cask Type B containers at the border. They are bought in the same way as regular vehicles; you can filter the vehicle type to "Containers" to more easily find the resource you're looking for. The nuclear containers are, at the time of writing, on the last page.

I don't know if this is available if you started your savegame before version 0.8.8.15 (2022-11-30), though.

Hopefully you can figure out the problem!

@Zyx Sorry for the spam, so I think I've narrowed it down to a mod conflict though it'll take me a while to find which mod haha.

I loaded my brother's world again with the mod setting 'enable only used mods' to see if ruling out mods he hadn't used but I am subbed to would work and I built another storage in his save and it functioned correctly.

So now I need to sift through a lot of mods to find which ones I use that he doesn't which could be causing it. I'll let you know if I track it down.
