latest version of my Colonial Viper with a lot of upgrades in design and features!
Versions shwon in videos are much older!





WARNINGS and disclaimers:

  • I know you are that one great experienced captain and you never read manuals... But: READ THE DESCRIPTION!
  • The "Colonial Viper" is an original design from the TV-series "Battlestar Galactica"!
  • This blueprint contains numerous SUBGRIDS!
  • This blueprint contains NO SCRIPTS
  • The use of this design may require experimental mode ON!
  • Blueprint comes vanilla + DLC
  • Clang may appear! Always expect at least a little drift!



SPECS:

  • small grid
  • 5.5k PCU
  • 1k blocks
  • 58 tons
  • Hydrogen engines only!
  • Crew: 1

@Captain Stubing if credit is given and it is in context of the addition to such a larger build i am fine with it.

What's your stance on repub? I have an Adamant class(-ish) frigate just about ready for publishing and I modified your (awesome looking) Viper to put two copies in my hangar. I wouldn't repub the fighters themselves, but I would publish them onboard my frigate if you're ok with it, crediting/linking you and explaining my changes. If not, then I respect that too and will remove them before publishing.

@ManBeArPig This is not a mod, it is a blueprint! And yes, the wings are made of subgrids, but subgrids are not projected by vanilla projectors in survival. You need to project them seperatly and attach them. There is a video about that on my YT channel you find by clicking on my video section.

I feel I'm missing something really obvious here, great mod, but where are the wings, I know theyre sub grids, or do I do them myself?

People sleeping on the most amazing thing about this ship, how did you center those panels on the back fin?? How are they attached?? I gotta know!

I love it, but you forgot to hook up the gattlings on the hull, no biggie there's piping behind and I fixed mine but I thought you should know.
