More research slots for you, your friends, and your friendly bots!
I've never quite been satisfied with the state of research in hoi4, but in particular it always bothered me as to how difficult it is for major nations to keep up with research in multiple areas. This mod aims to fix this problem while not being too unbalanced.


Overview of what the mod does:
Adds decisions for adding up to 10 extra research slots.
Adds a decision for boosting/funding research.
Adds a special decision for boosting/funding research while at war.


Detailed Description of Decisions:
Research Slot decisions can only be taken one at a time.
Adding a Research Slot takes 240 days at the cost of 5% consumer goods and -0.3 political power daily, as well as 100 political power up front.
Upon 'completion' of the decision, various numbers of civ factories will be removed from your country.
Your slots will cost 5, 15, and 30 civ factories for slots 1, 2, and then 3, and 50 civ factories for slots 4 and beyond.
The AI will select these decisions at more than 90, 120, 200, 300, and 400 total factories for slots 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 and then at more than 850 total factories for future slots, also being limited by number of civilian factories owned.

The decision for More Research Funding is unlimited in time and grants 20% research speed at the cost of 15% consumer goods and 100 political power up front.
This decision can be disabled via decision once selected at no cost and activated/deactivated without limit.
The AI cannot use this decision.

The decision for War Effort Research Funding is unlimited in time and grants 15% research speed at the cost of using 15 civ factories.
This decision can be disabled via decision once selected at no cost and activated/deactivated without limit.
The AI will activate this decision if it is a major with 40 available civilian factories.
Yes, you must be at war to activate it.
