I've added a note about Optimization: Leathers

It's intended that plasteel be a bit harder to farm from turtles compared to steel

Question:
The Steelshell turtle has Steel as Wool, but the Plasturtle has Plasteel as meat?
Do i have to slaughter the poor turtle to get plasteel?

Also:
Please mention that the Plasturtle causes a conflict with the Optimization: Leathers mod unless the Plasturtle is disabled in that mod´s own selection options.
In my case, Plasteel disappeared on loading the save, there was no plasteel on the maps as well as Plasteel completely disappearing from any list.
With dev mode, i could only place Minable Plasteel.
This issue was completely untraceable, and without a helpful reply on steam and the comment
further down in this mod´s page, it would´ve been annoying.


Turtles, Plassteel and optimized Leather are fundamental pillars for having a fun colony, after all!

I trained the turtles to fight and they dont seem to attack anyone? When there are raids they dont go help?

what would i even do without this mod... prob die
