The Ardent is a small support Heli built to work alongside small - medium sized ships. The Ardent relies on two medium frag EMP missiles for combat and has a very simplistic movement system to drive down cost.

For defense, the Ardent is equipped with a decoy, 16 small interceptors, frontal shielding and chaff.

All this allows the ardent to sit back and deal minor chip damage while intercepting missiles before they get to the main craft.
