Cadet Branch Hard Limiter

描述
This mod greatly complicates the requirements for creating cadet branches.


Additional requirements:
  • Your level of fame is Exalted among Men (4) or above

  • Your highest held title is greater or equal to Kingdom

  • Your dynasty have a level of splendor greater or equal to Noteworthy (3)

  • You are an independent ruler

This will stop the AI from endlessly spamming cadet branches. Now to create a branch you need to be a really great ruler.

Might I suggest you add a requirement effectively "has been ruler for 10/20 years"

This would help prevent tons of new houses popping up immediately with Norse/tribal rulers as the patriarch dies.

Heads up, this mod is being totally overwritten by MGR, which sucks because MGR does a ton of work to make other mods achievement compatible. MGR does have a section for cadet house decision edits, which is notably less harsh than yours.

As yours is exactly what I want from cadet houses, this saddens me. I'm not even sure if it's fixable, since the MGR effects are applied on game start, not mod load.

doesnt stop cadet spam from completed legends adventure cb or vikings adventurer cb either. had like 40 cadets with 1-2 people in them created after winning

Been using the mod helps alot but I got one problem. You can still have ai create cadet branches when they are subjects under an emperor so long as they hold a kingdom level title.

Does this mod still work? It seems to work for the player but the AI can make cadet branches even when not independent.

Yeah just confirmed this mod doesnt affect Total Conversions at all. Well, not AGOT at least. Just had a distinguished vassal of another realm make a cadet house.

does it not work with agot? just noticed a founder of a targaryen cadet house is only distinguished fame and he just barely made it
