CWR3: Air Cavalry

描述
The Warsaw Pact has launched an offensive on West Germany. NATO, caught by surprise, prepares to regroup and strike back.
Tensions on the inter-German border have flared. Warsaw Pact troops, led by the Soviet Union, have broken through the Iron Curtain across Germany. NATO has put all its forces in Western Europe on alert, while the US, UK and France have sent all available forces to the border.

The Mission:
Soviet troops have penetrated into northern West Germany, weakening the Bundeswehr in Lower Saxony. NATO, however, has massed forces to prepare a counteroffensive to drive the enemy back to the border. The US 3rd Infantry Division has prepared an air assault together with the 2nd Cavalry Regiment, which will support from the ground with mechanized infantry to take the town of Ratzlingen, in the Rosche municipality.

Take the role of a grenadier in a US infantry assault squad in an air assault. Confront the enemy in a combined arms operation in an alternative timeline in which World War 3 has broken in Europe.

In the briefing it states that "Soviet artillery is firing on GDR forces" which are the East German. I'm guessing it should say FRG?

Very good mission! It was atmospheric at the beginning with the air cav landing and moving to contact, then the fight in the town was action packed!

Cool mission btw, like most of yours. Maybe the pacing is a bit off because of the intro and garrisoning some units in buildings would add a bit more intensity to the fights.

@leh2012 the [h1] and other BB-codes you see in Scenarios menu is because the description there is shared with Steam description, and Steam understands it while Arma doesn't. It can be fixed if author uses 3den Enhanced and it's Steam uploading feature but I haven't seen a single person caring about it at all.
