Your refinery is completely decked out for comfort for your employees (as per law lobbied by the Ore Miners' Union) as well as having 2 refinement facilities for smelting ore. Seems a bit tedious, you ask, to dump it and then carry it to the refinery? Sorry, direct vehicle-refinery processes won't be invented for another 40 years. You may as well get used to slow refinement by lazy pampered employees.
