The Danville and Durham is a sizable layout meant to imitate a portion of the SouthEast US, specifically North Carolina, and is perfect for running large trains, as well as short excursions.

Update: The D&D has been awarded "Honorable Mention" in the 2022 Trackwork Comp! Thank you so much!

The layout has 2 train stations, and 1 museum train station. The platforms can fit 4-5 cars at a time.
The layout uses custom track styles, so make sure to download them when I have added them.
This layout has thousands of trees and plants, so it will be very intensive. DO NOT EDIT the map if you want to retain any FPS.
This said, if you DO want to edit the map, by all means go ahead. Do not reupload this map in any way, shape or form.
You have my full permission to use this map in any work of media. Please reference my work as creator if you do.

Thank you, it has been a true honor and a delight to participate! there was a considerable amount of work put into the map. I wanted to make sure there was a extensive road system, and not many small ones. I hope others will be as content with this map as I am. :winter2019happyyul:
