DB Class 670 double deck rail car

The class 670 is a double-decker diesel railcar. It has two axles and contains parts from bus construction. They were built from 1996 onwards, a successor series was never built. The trains were used on some lines, especially in Thuringia and on the Moselle line. As there were frequent problems, especially with the engine cooling, they were removed from active service. Half of the vehicles have been parked since 2014, the others are partly still in service.
