Go down as a badass gunslinger legend with this fast-paced arcadey wild west config!

Recommendations:
  • I made a cinematic Reshade setup for this. If you have Reshade installed, I strongly recommend you try it out with THIS LINK.[drive.google.com]
    For a more performance friendly Reshade setup, use THIS OLDER VERSION.[drive.google.com]
  • Just drop these in the Ravenfield directory and you're all set.
    (The older version can be seen in the image above.)
  • Make sure bloom is disabled in video settings.
  • Set difficulty to hard.
  • Keep the bot count at or under 100.
  • For the most fun experience, read the gameplay meta section below.

Gameplay Meta:
(Skip to the bottom for a TL;DR)
  • Traversal: Horses are just there for immersion and simple-minded bots. A real man uses a fabled technique spoken of only in legends: The Jackrabbit Hop. Run forward, crouch, then jump as you're sliding, and keep bouncing to maintain momentum. Pair it with deadeye and become a force of nature as you soar across the frontier. Or at least for a time, until you get shot in the stomach and face plant into the dirt.

  • Supplies: Live off the land by kicking the lifeless bodies of your foes (and friends) for ammo! Worry not about mortal injuries, just take cover for 4 seconds and watch your wounds heal before your very eyes! If you're feeling bloodthirsty you can gun down enemies to regenerate health even faster. Due to Ravenfield's health mechanics, this method will reset the automatic healing timer. Unintentional game balance!

With these tips you can expect almost constant action on small maps. Skip the boredom of running to objectives and forget about finding supply boxes to keep the fight going. If you play your cards right you'll be a one man army! Just don't get too cocky.

TL;DR: Bunny hop around, kick corpses for ammo, and either wait for health regen or shoot bad guys to regenerate health.
