Plastic Utilities

描述
Summary
Adds new plastic liquid and gas pipe buildings, and more backwalls with plastic themed designs.

Since these new pipes are made of plastic they're pretty good insulators and they don't have a decor penalty.
The downside is that they melt at ~160C so they're not ideal for high temperature fluids.

Note that the "Great Decor" in the mod thumbnail is referring to the backwall decor bonus.
You can see in the overlay that the pipes are not going to subtract from the decor value of a room.

Does the fact that it's plastic also help with removing germs within the contents of said pipe?

The plastic pipes don't have any decor. They have 0 decor, not good not bad.

I think if plastic pipe has lower decor penalty insted of having decor I could love this mod. If you could have add this as an option it couldbe perfect. I was thinking like real world pipes. Plastic pipes looks better than metal ones but they still look bad.

Just updated to add a new setting in the mod options menu to hide pipes and wires behind the new backwalls. It should enable automatically if you have the Drywall Hides Pipes and Wires mod.
