Disclaimer: This mod is a little jank, there may be bugs, and I apologize if there are! It may give you a recompile error first time you launch it, if so, just relaunch the game and try again.

This is my Time Travel Mod Jam entry! Hat Kid vs Alexander!

All relevant content is owned by Square Enix.

Mafia town has been suddenly invaded by a giant metal behemoth known as Alexander! He holds power of the dominion of time, and has come searching for Hat Kid, hoping to challenge her and her 7 friends to a duel! Who has greater control of time? Alexander, or Hat Kid? Hat Kid must prove herself worthy of her time powers, lest she suffer Alexander's divine judgement!

This is a single boss map, with unique cutscenes, and a 8-character party system. You'll have 7 other characters controlled by AI helping you along the boss! The mod's run time is around 15-20 minutes.

Thank you! It was a bit rushed cuz of it being a jam mod, I do wanna return to an idea like this with a more polished sequel! Getting those players working at all was a real hassle, haha.

This is incredibly cool! Very unique idea. I did run into a couple issues. Healer character (I think) just stood in one spot T-posing the whole time instead of following me, having a costume with a custom head breaks like half the party models, and I got hit with an attack during one of the "DPS running over to set up" cutscenes (which can also be kinda long).
I also felt that the time stop mechanic took a little too long on the "you can't move" part , but it was interesting even though the Time Stop Hat auto-activated to counter it instead of me doing it (I did try lol, it made sense) .
Also the boss design slaps.
