Canned Food

This mod adds a canned barbeque and canned tuna, non spoiling food variants that are made at the crafting station.


Current latest Version: 3.0.7




Features

  • New canned Food variants:
    • Canned Barbeque (made from Barbeque)
    • Canned Tuna (made from Cooked Seafood)
    • Canned Bread (made from Pepper Bread)
  • all foods are made at the crafting station.
  • canning requires 500g of (refined) Copper / Aluminum / Steel (material is configurable in Mod Settings, default is Copper.) and 500g of the respective food, resulting in half calorie density of the non-canned material when canned
  • does not spoil
  • designed for space missions
  • once eaten, can scraps are dropped, those can be recycled back into the metal used on construction

DLC Features
  • Canned Tuna will provide Radiation Resistance, similar to normal sea food.

Seriously, the first thing I thought about reading the comment below was: lead ??? LOL, are you really going to use lead as a canned item for Duplicants?
Of course, lead is a refined metal, I understand that you mean that you have other ingredients, but lead is a toxic metal in reality, and try to think about the duplicants who have to eat canned food made of lead, really humane, 😂

Getting a crash when selecting the crafting station with this mod after refined metals are unlocked maybe a conflict with another mod or something.
