Bug report: If you go for the kill on a "near-death" cultivator from dialogue and succeed, you don't trigger this effect.

For those who said didn't work, it's because you deleted version.dll which effectively disabled melonloader
To re-enable, restore the version.dll and do this
1. Close steam
2. Go to <steam>/steamlib/steamapps
3. Open file appmanifest_1468810.acf with text editor
4. Rename "installdir" "????" to "installdir" "TOI"
5. Go to <steam>/steamlib/steamapps/common and rename game forlder ???? to TOI

update the mod please

My MelonPreferences.cfg file is blank, am I doing things wrong ?
Did the way of configuring the mod change with the 1.0 ?
I installed MelonLoader version 0.5.7

Do NPCs also drain stats when they win fights? Or is it PC only?

This mod is great, but it's far too overpowered at base strength, so it's great we can adjust it in the configs
I tweaked it to reduce drain to 3% for kill and 1% for humiliation on most base stats, 5%/2% for daos with a minimum gain of 0 rather than 1, and disabled artisan skill drain because I see that as something that can't be stolen so easily
That makes it much more work to become an unstoppable cultivator who can kill people three realms above you just by farming weak cultivators, and encourages you to seek out cultivators of decent strength to steal their souls, which seems much more appropriate imo

Can we have a mod where you have instead only lifespan drain?
