how can i download this map? I want a version where the mission doesnt fail if the height limit is breached. It takes way too long to find a lobby of capable pilots and I end up restarting the mission dozens of times. IMO everything is perfect (if youve got capable co pilots) just would like a less strict version for the noobs.

Ya I actually ran it again the day before yesterday and decided to test the ceiling limits by forcing a fail, but I do appreciate your response. It's a great mission, was featured/used in one of my favorite youtubers, Hummy's VR Comedy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U2IXyx5lpYc

I ran it with that in mind and got through the canyon at a decent speed, but didn't realize I had to push to the objective before climbing, which is my fault. Excited to try again. Thanks for taking the time to make the map.:steamthumbsup:

Bdubb the ceiling is 1200 feet. I usually fly at about 800 ft and occasionally go up to 1k feet at ceterain points. I've completed this mission many times with friends. It is hard but possible. I wanted the canyon run to be a big challenge!

Btw I challenge anyone here to rock a "under 400 ASL (jet instruments) run", no quick-saves.

OR, better yet, negative points each time you break 400 (I think it might be impossible to not break it in some parts). So far I've only made it about 25 NM, broke 400 ASL twice.

It's crazy hard, but a great challenge! I recommend setting your s-cam to the smooth-cam for cockpit view to verify the claim when recording.

Can you clarify what you mean by 400 MSL? In the mission description, it mentions 400 MSL/1200 feet. I'll admit, I'm very much not privy with all that, but looking it up it seems that MSL doesn't exist and maybe it's a typo? Basically, the jets read in ASL, what are we looking for a ceiling in that reading?

All and all, I really like this mission, it's different from the movie which is fine. Thanks for taking the time to make it!

I've seen a couple people going at this mission, but most quick-save (automatic loss imo) or seems to take the 1200 ASL route.

canyon is at least 10x longer than in the movie. ToT is supposed to be 2:30, not 10 mins
