BASIC COLOURANTS

The fire-worker must at all times have a supply of basic colourants with which to bring life into their flames. For this end, techniques to transmute basic substances into more useful forms are one of the first steps in the apprentice's path towards mastery of the craft. This recipe provides a basic frame to turn parts of earth and parts of salt into equal parts arsenic, for fine shades of green, and fertiliser, for a simple propellant.
