描述
Reuniclus, the Mindbending Brawler from Unova, makes their way into the world of Aether!

Reuniclus is a zoner/grappler hybrid who can either keep their opponents at a distance with large, disjointed normals and numerous projectiles, as well as utilize various command grabs that can kill or create tech chase scenarios. Keep your opponent on your toes with Focus Blast and Psyshock, and punish them for being reckless with a Dizzy Punch or a Hammer Arm.

Special Moves

Neutral Special: Future Sight
Reuniclus lays down a chargeable trap that can either be left alone or remotely detonated. When activated, it brings the opponent in if they're in range, and explodes, sending them flying. Use this move as a kill setup, as stage control, or use the fully charged version to score a kill.


Forward Special: Focus Blast
Reuniclus charges up a ball of energy, before hurling it at the opponent. The non charged version can be used as a combo tool, while the fully charged version can be used as a kill move or a general zoning tool.


Up Special: Superpower
A command grab Reuniclus leaps upwards while sticking their arms out. When the grab lands, they spin the opponent around and slam them onto the floor. Will do the slam early if Reuniclus is too high up or offstage.


Down Special: Psyshock
Reuniclus spawns a crystalline projectile that briefly homes in on the opponent before launching itself. Use it as a kill setup, or as a form of stage control.

I love this dude to death and I've been playing him for a damn long time, but I have a gripe. Please make his idle hurtbox a little thinner. This dude can really struggle play a whiff-punish neutral game because of how wide he is when he isn't using a move.
Regardless of if you make a change, thanks for your hard work.

I would absolutely main this wrestling psychic, but it's got a few problems. Up air is useless thanks to up special, if you could make the grapple down air and the down air lightning to be the up air, I think that would be a great change.
The down strong doesn't have a lot of range, a little more reach would be great.
A multi-jab would definitely benefit the character.
Could the dash attack be multi-hit and end in a launch?
Maybe make all versions of the side special the same speed? Idk about this one, I have yet to try out combos with the slow big one, but it seems pretty easy to dodge so far.
Seriously love this character though!

I have to agree, the new additions are cool, but I miss old Up Air, Down Strong, and Up Special. I would love a release of the older version.

There's a glitch with Dstrong,
after successfully hitting an enemy with it, every attempt after will play the full Dstrong animation regardless of whether you hit the opponent or not.

This rework is incredible! I love the pivot to a bit of a grappler, it feels great for trapping combined with Future Sight and Psyshock. Thanks for revisiting this character!

I don't want to be THAT guy, but reuniclus has piss poor base stats. They are lighter than kragg while STILL being slower, both in the air and on the ground, without all the added power of a heavyweight. Idk how they "live forever" on your part. its double jump is also pretty bad going a decent distance shorter than most regular double jumps and God forbid, other floaty characters. And the zoning tools that actually kill only do so at pretty high percents, definitely above 100.

So yeah no offense but something something skill issue adapt. There are DEFINITELY a good few numbers of downsides.

ok so this character
-is a heavyweight so lives forever
-has massive disjoint on fast moves
-floaty air movement and jump cancelling for easy combos
-zoning tools that also kill

and the weaknesses are supposed to be??????????
please nerf this character because as of now its one of the most annoying things ive ever had the displeasure of fighting

again more endlag across the board, smaller hitboxes on uair and ftilt, and also add more sound effects to dstrong, bair, and ESPECIALLY nspecial. nspecial has 0 audio feedback for creating it which is really bad. The sound design is a little iffy in general with generic swipes for clearly psychic attacks, but those are the main offenders. Also note that DSpecial literally has no hurtbox on it, absolutely fix that one like it literally reverts to the X placeholder sprite. And PLEASE make the character lighter, midweight at the VERY least
