Commissioned and deployed in 2291, the Beta is a destroyer offered by Hephaestus Defense Industries. Sanctioned product line from ONRC.

The Beta is a sturdy space oriented destroyer with limited atmospheric capabilities designed for fleet bolstering and defense in the Artemis System. Capable of moon, space, and atmo travel, the vessel is able to operate for extended terms without assistance.

Sporting 16 turrets of various types and dual rail guns for long range sniping, Beta is more than capable of dealing out damage and keep trucking thanks to the redundant thrust design.

Interior layout is simple but with multideck layout leading to vital areas including CIC, Engineering, and JDS control. While there is a distinct lack of comfort accommodations in the Beta, it is more than capable of ensuring crew survival for as long as needed.

Lateral dual connector docking allows the vessel to accurately link up with a station or other ship and maintain proper 'ship to other' gravity alignment for ease of egress/access.
