[MSS] Type-56 Carrier

One of the first capital ships built by MSS shipyards, the Type-56 was designed as a medium carrier able to carry several wings of spacecrafts and maintain them in action. It is heavily inspired by the IMDC Europa, but this ship was deemed too expensive by the MSS command so MSS shipyards designed a brand new smaller and more optimized carrier. Its light armement of 16 gatling turrets is only supposed to deal with fighters and missiles and not ship to ship combat, although it is still well armored for a carrier. When properly screened, the Type-56 is a formidable tool: it can secure air superiority, launch strikes against enemy ships or support planetary assaults with its fighter, bomber and gunship wings. This carrier will be at its best at the center of a battlegroup, providing utility and firepower to any MSS fleet.
