Uregistan "Highway Ambush" [REMASTERED]

Backstory: No one drives on this highway anymore since the fall of Aabid the III except the goverment forces. It´s too dangerous because of both goverment shelling and insurgent attacks. The villages along the highway have long been abandoned and no civilians live in that area.

Briefing: On the way back from assisting the Uregistani Defence Force [UDF] you join their convoy back to base in order to be less of an easy target for any insurgents. IED!!! You clear your vehicle and see how the UDF are fleeing leaving you and your group alone to fight of the insurgent ambush. Repel the ambush and defeat the insurgents.
Uregistan was ruled by Aabid the III and his son and prince Farid the II the heir to the throne. It was a stable country until natural disasters destroyed the main industrial area in Uregistan which crippled the economy and resulted in increased poverty and lack of food and water. Extremist groups used to opportunity to recruit people and start a rebellion with ended with the death of Aabid the III by a mob and his son Farid the II being imprisoned by the rebels.

Several countries reacted to this as well as the UN which demanded a cease of hostilities and the release of prince Farid the II. The demand by the international community were not met and a task force was formed to help establish a new democratic goverment and bring peace to the country.
