Firearms + Snake's Hunting [OUTDATED]

Hunting Table patch for Snake's Hunting system from Le Gourmet Revolution, enabling use of a number of firearms from Hyzo's Firearms B41 mod.

I have tweaked some settings so that scopes are no longer required (but still immensely useful) when hunting. More powerful scopes will give you more powerful bonuses when hunting animals.

You will get a small bonus when using the iron sights and red dot attachments, and a larger chance to hit bonus when using a laser sight.

Bare in mind some rifles (lever action rifles for example) do not allow sight attachments, so you will not recieve any hunting bonuses when using these weapons, but that does not mean they can't be used for hunting.

For some reason trying to add the x4-x12 Scope to the table resulted in errors and the context menu breaking, I am unsure how to fix this at the moment so please bare in mind this particular scope will not provide any bonuses for hunting.

i disabled WPA myself so i have no idea if they work together.

As far as I know there's not much need to make compatibility between the ammo types as Firearms uses vanilla ammo, and you can convert the vanilla ammo to the ammo made for Firearms, with the exception of 30-06 and 22lr.

I have started playing a lot more again recently so once my motivation returns (busy with work and this time of year leaves me pretty tired anyway), ill see about making a full compatibility patch if its in my ability, this is something id been thinking about for a while.

I dont think ill be able to make the weapon attachments compatible but i can at least look at making the rest of it so

Like what TheAshby proposed - sounds monumental lol - but it would be a much appreciated gift.

@amazedturnip - so far only attachments ive found are couple scopes and they do work. Re-reading descriptions and comments leads me to believe all Snakes WPA will work with Firearms B41 <fingers crossed>.
Im always looking for more attachments for Firearms B41 myself - found this recently: Udderly'sAttachments - im still trying to understand it.

Could you add compatibility between WPA/AmmoMaker Reloaded and the ammo from FirearmsB41 and the one used by the Snake Mod Pack? For all weapons to only use the ammo from FirearmsB41/AmmocraftB41

Really this full compatibility would be perfect!

yeah its gotta be fairly far out! might even just be forest i cant remember (havent played in a while). Just try get into an area where the trees are dense

Ruger M77 with 8X Scope. I cant even find deep forest lol. I will check and let you know if I can find some

need to make sure youre in deep forest, and make sure its not the x4-x12 scope, couldnt get that one to work for some reason. which rifle are you using btw?

@Clebenstein, how do you hunt? That sounds ridiculous I know, but I attached the scope to my weapon but no prompt comes up to hunt when I right click a tree. Do i need the deer call first?

No worries, I had the same issue before and i was tearing my hair out because of it haha!
