CRN M-119 Defender MBT

The CRN M-119 Defender MBT is the newest and most modern MBT in the CRN arsenal, replacing the Guardian the Defender has a lot to live up to. The Defender fields an improved weapon loadout, with a small autocannon and assault cannon mounted on its turret chassis the Defender can outrange its competitors, and destroy them much more quickly. The Defender fields improved speed and agility over the guardian, all combined with a lower, and smaller chassis. This is beneficial because it makes the Defender harder to acquire by eyesight. True to CRN tank design there is a Gatling turret mounted on the top of the turret, which can function as anti air/ anti ground fire. The turret can also engage other targets that the tank crew can not deal with at the same time.

Built in the 2890s the Defender is slightly older, but still more modern than other tanks. The Defender arose as the CRN realized it needed a replacement for the aging guardian MBT's. The tank was also developed for coalition nations, so that they would not have to develop their own tanks, and could posses their own tanks. The tank has versatility in mind, being able to function in any environment. The Defender even served in the siege of Nova Prime, fighting in the 319th, 320th, and the 321st planetary guard divisions. As the ESA attacked on the ground in the city of New Terra. The Defender lead the charge as CRN ground units pushed straight through the ESA lines of attrition. They punched a hole straight through the ESA's defensive lines, between 32nd avenue and 5th street, just by New Terra's city hall. They attacked in tandem with the CRN's 501st Armored Cavalry Unit. The 319th, 320th, and 321st pushed back these ESA defensive lines just in time for a squad of Lancers to blow the rest to smithereens. In this assault the CRN had lost many tanks, but not compared to the amount that the ESA had lost in that one day. In the subsequent days the Defender crews were forced to bog down as the ESA attempted a counter attack, on the 10th of December 12:20 the ESA rushed thousands upon thousands of their armored units at CRN planetary guard units, like a shield the guard stood firm, not budging an inch. Finally the lines broke, and the CRN had to retreat back to 5th street and 32nd avenue, there the republic forces regrouped, with a more deepened resolve, they pushed. In this waxing and waning of combat the CRN eventually fought the ESA back to the outskirts of the city, a month of fighting had forced the ESA to flee with their tail tucked between their legs. The CRN had successfully fought back the ESA, and inflicted heavy damage upon them. Through all of this the Defender MBT stood strong, embodying the Republics resolve, and strength.

The Defender has been something that I've been working on for a while, I originally made it in January, and have just been working on it and modifying it ever since, at first I wasn't happy with it because It just didn't look right to me, but I modified it until I was happy. Which I think that I can safely say that I am very happy with it, its one of my tanks so you will have to modify it slightly if you are on xbox, I apologize I didn't have enough space in the chassis to change some of the stuff.
