I like farms BIG farms. I like my people to be working the fields, but not to spend all day doing nothing but tending crops. More now since UWE adds several new crop types.

So I made some changes.
- Crops take x5 time to grown. So, you need 5 times the fields to get the same production you would get without this mod.
- Crops take half water consumption rate. So, you need less water daily to kept your fields alive.
- Crops take double time to die. So, you have more time to harvest all your fields.
- Internal water storage input of all farms set to 10. So less time hauling water.
- Internal crop storage output of all farms set to their max size type. So your farmers don't interrupt their work to haul produce mid farming.

Note: I recommend setting the haul crop to storage as the last job of your farmer to kept farms empty and your warehouse full.

I agree with what you mean and in a new playthrough I would use this as is, its just on my current 150+ char playthrough everything is set up and to change my already too big base layout accordingly is just quite the undertaking^^;; I simply could not use it but I like it so much that the Farmer get some freetime and use the casual spots more.

@brainlag. Plant twice the crops. Even with this mod, you'd end up having too much food. Test it first.

I mean, at vanilla you practically get crops everyday. So the biggest farm is more than enough to feed an entire squad. With this mod, you need 5 farms to get the same results at 5 days. And a single farmer can take care of 10 fields with no issue.

Great mod but a bit too harsh for my current pt, half of the additional time would be perfect though. Would you consider making a 50 % less time version or could you maybe tell me what I have to change in mod editor to get that?

@Sto⚡. Technically, yeah. However you may want to use a mod the only affects vanilla crops instead of this one
